“Your Safe Place provides free services to adults, seniors, children, and teens who have or are experiencing domestic violence, family violence, elder abuse, sexual assault, or sex trafficking regardless of age, gender, income, and immigration status.” 

Services include: 

“SDTC provides a specialized therapeutic program for children and families who have experienced a traumatic event. In order to begin the healing process, a safe, supportive, and nurturing place is provided to help children and teens recover from these traumatic experiences. Child therapy is provided for trauma recovery, anxiety, ADHD, depression and more.” 

“Low Cost Child Counseling offered for all ages. Insurance plans including Aetna and Cigna are also accepted.” 

Locations: 

“The Chadwick Center is an accredited children’s advocacy center (CAC).  It is one of the largest hospital-based CACs and trauma treatment centers in the nation.  Our CAC provides family-focused and trauma-informed services to children and adolescents who may have experienced or witnessed maltreatment, abuse or violence.  We do this in a safe, child-centered environment using evidence-based practices (EBPs) to support the family to begin the healing process.”

At One Safe Place — the North County Family Justice Center — we provide comprehensive help in a safe and judgment-free environment that empowers people to move forward with their lives.
